ABOUT ME

People usually view me as a big kid because I still want to see/do everything! I love traveling, cultural exchanges, and meeting new people who are open to the world around them.

Growing up, I traveled with my large family and Air Force father. It gave me a good dose of the wanderlust. I always look forward to meeting new people and having new adventures... yippeeeeee!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted surfers, and I have also hosted several STL Couch Surfing get-togethers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I lived in California, I had a revolving couch for friends and their relatives who were coming to the states from Ireland, England, Scotland & Wales. It was fun and through it, I made life long friends.

I am active in the community and with my family, I cook competitively (have competed in a few cooking competitions for fun), draw, paint, & sing. I love a day in the park, talking over a meal and a good bottle of wine, going out with my awesome friends,and taking spontaneous drives to nowhere in particular.

Spy flicks, Braveheart, The Princess Bride, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Excalibur, Kung Fu Hustle, the Bourne series, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Adam Sandler flicks, some sci-fi, Kill Bill, etc. No horror films...

I like most types of music, especialy Euro-jazz, Classic jazz, Rock, R&B, Indie, acoustic melodies, Some Hip Hop, Celtic Rock/Ballads,and the list goes on.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Some of the amazing things I've experienced around the world include swimming with the dolphins in Mexico, witnessing a whale migration from Alaska, swimming in a fresh spring under a magnificent waterfall in Hawaii, snowmobiling past buffalo and other wildlife in Yellowstone National Park. Oh, and people watching can get pretty interesting too... ;-)
