ABOUT ME

I really don't enjoy talking about myself but in brief I consider myself a kindhearted, compassionate person who just learned how much I love to travel . I am pretty reserved until I am comfortable. I am super organized, clean and hate being late. I look forward to evenings with friends & family, drinking wine, laughing and sharing stories.

My husband and I (also on CS), just returned to California after being away for 5 years. 3.5 years we lived in Hawaii and 1.5 years spent traveling the world together. We visited 35 countries in 16 months. We saw many wonderful sights but more importantly we met some incredible people who made the trip unforgettable. Thank you Couchsurfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My husband and I have hosted several people from all over the world. Most importantly we have made some great friendships, some of those friends we reconnected with while we traveled in 2015 & 2016.

While we traveled we were very fortunate to meet several new CS friends. We were invited to stay in places like Costa Rica, Chile, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Portugal and South Africa.

Interests

I enjoy salsa dancing, soccer, hiking, snorkelin, swimming, yoga and attending concerts.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to everything from Rolling Stones to Ricky Martin. I am a big fan of classic rock, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Doors, Janis Joplin, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix but will listen to Jack Johnson and Coldplay any day. I have also been a fan of Elvis Presley since childhood and have visited Graceland several times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked 4 days to top of Machu Picchu. Rode an elephant. Kissed a stingray. I've touched a tiger. Skydived over Hawaii. Watched lava flow into the ocean. Married my best friend :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have danced since I was able to walk. I am most passionate about Latin Dances, in particular Salsa Dancing. I am more than willing to teach anyone who wants to learn.

I myself would like to learn how to play the guitar. I greatly appreciate music and have always wanted to learn how to play an instrument.
