About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to express my full potential in a world which can appreciate it and not dismiss it.

ABOUT ME

I am a positive person, I like reading, cinema, I practice many sports: mainly tennis and football (for US citizens: “soccer”), but also ski, running, and swimming. I like to travel, mainly in Europe, but I have also been in North America (USA and Canada) and Asia (South Korea and Japan). I am a polite person when I am a guest, and a very kind one when I am the host. I cook well Italian food (pasta, vegetables, Tiramisù!) and I can teach to cook it as well!

PHILOSOPHY

Live well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I am in Palermo (Italy), I like to host people sometimes, when I am in the right mood and above all when I have time!
When I was in Cologne (Germany), I did not host because I lived in too small an apartment, which was not very apt to host. Therefore I tried to participate in some CS activity from time to time.
When I am travelling, I sometimes travel as a couchsurfer, and until now it has been a positive experience!
Now that I am in Kobe (Japan) I can again host, because my apartment allows me to do so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had only one couch-surfing experience, as a surfer, and it was very positive! I find this way to host and be hosted, very cool, friendly, modern, and potentially amusing. At the base, it is a civil way to share with others some kindness, in a world where kindness and hospitality seem increasingly rare.
Same thing for my experiences as a host. I had the chance to receive very clever, nice, intelligent, sensitive guests.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a very hard reader of comics, of animation, of science fiction, and I love cinema (all kinds). I read the classics, because we have to read the classics! I don't listen much music, but when I listen to it, it is wonderful: from Janis Joplin to Deep Purple, from Bach to Wagner, from the Beatles (and the Rolling Stone..) to Ben Harper, etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I saw Jerusalem, the old town's market. It was amazing. I felt at home, like in old Sicily.
When I visited Finland and I had night sauna with friends and saw the sun ad midnight.
When I crossed the Mediterranean Sea by sail boat and I saw dolphins.
