ABOUT ME

I am a 30 years old girl from Denmark, I am currently living in Copenhagen with my American boyfriend Kaecyy. I am doing a PhD about new technologies and sustainability at the IT University of Copenhagen.
I am getting my main inspiration from meeting people around the world. Me and my boyfriend are living partly in Copenhagen, partly in Berlin, partly in Pennsylvania.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It depends on where I am at the time. In Copenhagen we can host max people at the time, since our apartment is very small. We are happy to lend out our apartment when we are not here, if you take care of our cats. In Pennsylvania we also have a house where we can have as many over as you wish.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am surfing and having surfers over, just as I enjoy meeting up with people showing them the best bars in Berlin or copenhagen. We have been surfing in Iceland and US mainly, where we have only had wonderful experiences with wonderful people.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music is mostly older music. I love 'The History of Pop Radio 1920-1951', Elvis, Beatles, and folk music, ambient music for reading and writing. My boyfriend is a musicmaniac and he will be able to give you everthing you heart desire (except from techno and new popmusic).

Movies: Again I am a bit old fashion and love old movies. New movies I mostly like historical and independent movies. Blue planet and Planet earth.

RAdio: love podcasts - BBC news, Radio Lab etc.

Books: I wish I read more!!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I don't know where to start....

I love to kayak around the island I was born at - just as a visit to a Kyoto covered in snow eating birthday breakfast at the HC. Andersen bakery was quit amazing. Hiking with my 'old' mom 4 days through The Andes to reach Machu Picchu ealy in the morning with a crying mother - it was her wish to go there since she was 14 years old. In Iceland I love to go swimming in hot springs and go directly from there out in the ocean. Showering in waterfalls in Yosimity was fantastic. Cowboy minimalism in Martha, Texas is fablous, and and and, and sometimes the most amazing thing is to come home after traveling and enjoy the peace in front of the fire with the cats...

Climate change as a cultural phenomenon, is what I am really into at the moment.
Else my specialty is the culture around technology - the social influence and the relationship between body and technology.

My boyfriend is very knowledgeable within 2. World War. Movies, literature and music.
