ABOUT ME

Hey all potential friends and flat mates even if it be a short visit. My name's Paddy and i'm originally Irish but I've been travelling around the world over the last few months. I've been to Fiji and the Philippines and now I'm going to Hong Kong and maybe Myanmar after. :D
I'm not religious but I think we're all connected somehow, and by more than the internet!
I love the international lifestyle, traveling and learning languages and making friends is in my opinion living the dream and I hope to continue at least until I have spanish and German down,... as in fluent or close to. I'v lived in Germany for a year on Erasmus in uni and I have to say it was one of the most fruitful yrs of my life in growing and discovering myself. I love sports and keep fit, I also love to read when I have the time... just finished call of the wild by Jack London and I really want a dog right now!! Oh and I've also just painted my huge room, its red and cream and looks funky as shit(not literally for u smart asses!).
What else can I say, I like to laugh and I like to make make laugh, I also like deep conversations and love stories... I'm a sucker for dark skinned ladies probably coz I'm a redhead, I'm convinced its some evolutionary thing that's out of my hands!!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not religious but i'm not atheist...I do believe good =God and when we choose to do the good the thing we become closer to god and closer to making the world for all a good place to be. I believe we have more to offer the world than acting as animals and believe people who give even to their own detriment are the true heroes of our world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive a big room and enough room on the floor for two double bed mattresses, I have one extra mattress. and a convertable couch.
I'm free at the weekends so we would go for Drinks together and maybe hit a club.. drink in meet friends... we'll think of something

Intereses

I play Foorball every sunday, I'm trying to get back into Kickboxing which I have sadly neglected big time... I love to read and sleep... so no snorers alowwed...sorry!

Narnia chronicles; as they were my first real books... call of the wild, paradise lost which I'm still reading 4 yeas after Uni but I think it's magical... the monk.. did it in English class and thought it was fantastic. So weird and twisty!

I saw a guy recently slipping on poo, his knee touched it too so it was on his trousers... he got up and continued to work like water off a ducks back... truly brave! That wasn't me though.

I volunteered with NGOs in the Philippines and Fiji, working with slum kids and jailed children. That was amazing...
