ABOUT ME

Recently I've been doing research to prevent large scale disasters. Before that I did research into improving human cognition and determining precisely what it is that humans value and helping found a nonprofit while "couchsurfing" for 5 months. Before that I of worked with an artificial intelligence research institute doing research, teaching, and strategy. The opportunities there were unparalleled. I got to live (in room with 5 other people) and work with more than 70 people: two International Math Olympiad bronze medalists, several authors, and a few startup founders.

PHILOSOPHY

Love every moment while keeping in mind the opportunity for joys of the future. Do the best you can do, be the best you can be, become the best you can become.

兴趣

Experiencing new things and living life to the fullest. Meeting the wondrous varieties of people. Marvelous music, fantastic food, delectable dance, grand games, lovely literature. Learning, creating, networking, helping others. 我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went to Burning man in 2010. It was the most intense experience of my life and words fail me. Cupping fire in my hands, getting caught in a dust storm, riding art cars, getting mesmerized by the scintillating waves of color, improvising a dance while waiting in line, and the camaraderie and fellowship of the other Burners.
