ABOUT ME

All about us! ;-)
We are a couple of Polish students living currently in a tropical paradise of sunny Scotland. We are enjoying ourselves, we love sweets, ice lollies, fancy drinks, we love music, we are actually addicted to music (we even collect good, old classy records - just check out our ABBA and Bee Gees collection). We love movies - particularly if they are not too serious (unless we intend to seem like cultural people). And most of all - we love animals, we care about animal rights and their well-being.
Oh, we cook quite well ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

Firstly be yourself. Whatever makes you angry, talk about it whatever makes you happy talk about it. Work and change things
(Oh, and Lidia as a philosphical nihilist has none personal philosophy sorry [we're all going to die anyway thing, you know]).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Of course we offer our sofa or matterace in our bright, spacious flat in the heart of Glasgow's North Kelvinside (lovely area, we live by the park and Botanic Gardens, and Tesco(which is being refubrished at the moment and is coming back in November)... ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We seem to be a well known summer holiday destination for our friends (even one of our university teachers stayed at our place for 10 days). Occasionaly our flat turns into a busy, crowded central station. But it's always good fun, and you don't have to spend so much money on heating.

Anna and Oskar from Poland (Edinburgh;)),
Donatas and Eugenius from Lithuania (twice :D),
Iryna from Belarus,

And as meeting them all was a great experience we desperately want more and more!
Our surfing experience is poor - we surfd in Oslo with Rasmus(ki), Hilah, Mona and Elle [and it was hell good fun! :)]

Interests

Music! That is playin music (or at least trying to do so), reviewing music, playing music in a student radio and so on. Moreover, we're both quite into history (and Art History)and Lidia likes archaelogy. We're keen on experimental cuisine (not just because we don't have money).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies, hard choice. But: we love cartoons, Two Stupid Dogs, Johny Bravo Cow and Chicken. But we like serious stuff too - People vs. Larry Flynt, Amadeus, Being John Malkovich, Donnie Darko, Lost in Translation, Trainspotting, Apocalypse Now, Ghost Dog, Tarantino's movies, most stuff from Jim Jarmusch and Tim Burton.
In terms of music - whoaaa... Long list. Let's go.
Okay, we've changed our mind. Let's put it like that: our taste is so eclectic that it reaches schizophrenia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have seen Massive Attack live! Also Tuscany on a beautiful, summer day, complete eclipse of the sun, meteor shower, Plitvice falls and a sunny day in Scotland!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can open beer bottles with our teeth, we can sommersaults on the bad, (Kacper can't play frisby, Lidia is the opposite). In terms of esoteric knowledge, I know how to deal with Tarot (I mean it - Kacper) and we actually teach languages.
