About Me

CURRENT MISSION

just smile. :)

ABOUT ME

Curious and willing to try just about anything once. I especially like meeting new people and hearing their stories. It's amazing to me how we all see and experience things so differently. I've been on Couchsurfing for a while, but I'm so busy it's hard to be really active... trying to change that!

I only have a handful of experiences so far, but they've all been positive!

Interests

travel, big ideas, wine, reading for fun and not school, being an occasional patron of the arts, urbanness, Deutsche reden, live music, unexpected adventures, comically awkward situations, the kindness of strangers, psychology, and double entendres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a weekend with three of my closest friends on the Friesan Island Langeoog in the North Sea in 2005. Langeoog is an island situated basically on a big sand bar, so when the tide is low you can walk out onto land normally covered by water and even wade over to some of the islands. There were no cars there, so my friends and I biked all over the sunny, beautiful island of grass-covered dunes. My favorite moment was our last night biking back from a bar in town. There were no lights on for many kilometers and the island was so flat and dark that the sky seemed impossibly big, like we were being scooped up and riding in the middle of the stars. It was breathtaking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to know a little bit about everything, so you never know what may come up and be useful!
