ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going, low-maintenance woman who often makes life and relationships much harder than they need to be. I've been blessed with amazing friends who have loved and cared for me, and I've learned more from them than I ever could have in a classroom. I'm passionate about educational inequities, cultural diversity, and caring for the homeless, and I studied political science and ethnic studies as an undergraduate. Maybe some day I'll have a successful career in my field of interest :) In the meantime, I plan to live a simple life full of new discoveries.

PHILOSOPHY

I desire a full life based not on the accumulation of wealth or material possessions, but on the breadth of experiences and depth of friendships. I hope that I continue to grow into a person whose thoughts and actions are motivated by love and joy rather than fear (undoubtedly I still have much room to grow in this area).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I 'surfed' for the first time in 2009 throughout Greece (solo), and it was amazing! I'm deeply indebted to those who have welcomed me to that beautiful country. Can't wait to meet some more fellow travelers!!

兴趣

Food! I love to eat. I also like painting, sculpture, photography, singing, playing music (piano, trumpet, flute, learning guitar), new food, sports, philosophical discussions, camping, etc.

movies: Karate Kid, American History X, Pulp Fiction, Get Out, Braveheart, Schindler's List, The Godfather, In Bruges.... I love watching almost all movies, even if it's just to say that I didn't care much for the plot.

music: really anything except bad country music. Mo-Town, world, classical, rock, soundtracks and movie scores, reggae, dance, rap, R&B, electro pop, etc.
