CURRENT MISSION

Trying to figure out who I want to become in life. Studying finance and Swedish and jazz performance. Excited to work for a while then go into Grad School, probably somewhere in Europe (Sweden?)

ABOUT ME

I am still figuring out exactly who I want to be. I'm studying Finance in school but have interests in Psychology, Gender Studies, Jazz, Swedish, Scandinavian Culture, International Studies, and Law. Right now I am loving just living with my amazing roomies in Seattle while we all finish up at UW. Eventually I will move to Europe, either for grad school, or after that, and plan on staying there for 5-10 years if not longer. I want to explore the whole world before I'm 40. I really enjoy going to the airport - the smell of stale cigarette smoke just reminds me of every time I've been there, about to take off on another amazing adventure.
I spend my free time biking, drawing, writing, reading, playing music, hanging out with friends, cooking, and ruminating. I enjoy life :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just beginning! But two of my friends started hosting Surfers over the summer and I have met almost all of them and helped show them around the city and taken them along on our get-togethers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had many except for meeting the Surfers who came to Seattle through my two friends who are on CS. We hung out in the cool parts of Seattle and hit up some of the neater bars and sights while they were here.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching Johnny Depp and Heath Ledger movies. I could listen to nothing else but Charles Mingus for the rest of my life and be totally happy, but I also like to listen to Swedish music to work on my language skills, so I like Snook, Veronica Maggio, Afasi and Filthy, and some others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...well, it's not incredibly amazing but I was the first person in my family to travel to Europe, and did so all by myself. I can't wait to go back!

Teach, Learn, Share

I play the saxophone and the piano and know a fair bit about baking/cooking. I know a lot about bunnies and am getting better at Swedish every day.

However, I would LOVE to learn more about cooking native dishes from other cultures and polishing my language skills!
