ABOUT ME

I'm a typical primary teacher, love kids, love England. Probably need to listen more and talk less. I used to live and host in London until September 2010 when I moved to Bristol for love! I still feel like a tourist discovering this fantastic city and love wandering around and discovering it both on foot and by bike.
I am currently in the middle of decorating my flat with my partner, attempting to build a new bed (don't worry, you won't have to sleep on it) and sort out the garden. So if you have skills in any of these areas, come on round!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd just like to pay a bit of kindness forward so I'm participating as a host for the time being. However, I hope to surf when school holidays next come round.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some lovely French students and a couple of other travellers passing through. So far I haven't had the opportunity to surf myself, although I'd like too.

兴趣

Outdoors, attempting to grow vegetables, music, reading books recommended by other people, food and Zumba. I'm hoping to do a beginners course in car maintenance in September as I am fed up with looking clueless every time I visit a garage.

Shantaram, made me really want to visit India. I love the film Dancer in the Dark, although it makes me cry. I just finished reading a huge historial novel from the 70s called Sarum all about the history of the South West and Salisbury.

I once flew over South Australia into Queenland in a tiny mail plane, dropping off letters and parcels to all the stations in the middle of no-where, that was pretty cool.

I teach all day, so I guess I'm keen to learn from other couch surfers. I want to be a more practical person so I'd like to meet people who can teach me practical skills.
