About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Grad school...

ABOUT ME

Just moved to Boulder, CO to get my masters at Naropa.

Born and raised in northern California foot hills, moved to Washington for college, did two years as a dance major, two years humanities and social sciences, and two years finishing my B.A. as a counseling major with an emphasis in multiculturalism and holistic movement/dance.

PHILOSOPHY

Another CSer summed it up perfectly with this link: http://www.xkcd.com/150/

"I have lived through much, and now I think I have found what is needed for happiness. A quiet secluded life in the country, with the possibility of being useful to people to whom it is easy to do good, and who are not accustomed to have it done to them; then work which one hopes may be of some use; then rest, nature, books, music, love for one’s neighbor — such is my idea of happiness."
— Leo Tolstoy (Family Happiness and Other Stories)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Used to climb telephone polls with a little stickering/graffiti crew... we called ourselves the "That's What Your Mom Said...Ooo, f*** yeah! Crew" and saw many a sunrise as we walked home from a long nights of running around the streets...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the most basic yoga and mindfulness practices.

I dabble in understanding nutrition, dance, mindfulness, and psychology. I like sharing experience in general and reveling in this thing called "being human."

I'd like to learn about all kinds of cooking, especially how to make authentic Pad Thai and Pad Se Ew.
