About Me

[Update 2024: back on couchsurfing after 10 years , curious to meet up and see how locals live, explore, cook together,...]

Leather goods (bags) designer, from Belgium but moved and settled down in Paris after graduating from Antwerp fashion academy 13 years ago. also do ceramics and looking into how to work as a Private Chef (mainly Asian food, not a big fan of white people food haha)
Love anything to do with food and craft: leathercraft, ceramics, anything food, cooking or coffee related. My partner of 13 years is actually Taiwanese, we visit his family and our friends normally every year. As I been going to Taipei for more than 10 years alrdy, it already feels like second home.

PS: I know I can look intimidating/tough on photos but I'm a considerate calm person who loves the simple things in life. ;) More a morning person than night owl btw.

Upcoming trip:
11/01-11 Taipei
11/12-19 Tokyo
11/19-28 Taipei

I won't need a place to sleep during my trip, but if possible would love to visit locals and see how you live (love shows like 誰來晚餐), chill, exchange stories, work out, cook together... or just visit some places you love or chill at a nice coffee shop if you prefer to meet outside. 🍵

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

(couchsurfered a lot back in 2009-2010 during my first ever Japan trip and had amazing memories, but haven't used the platform for 10 years) would love to connect with locals when traveling.

Would love to exchange knowledge on COOKING, food, foodhistory and culture surrounded it. And improve my MANDARIN (Taiwanese accent included haha)

Also very interested to acquire some MASSAGE SKILLS if anyone has some knowledge to share/teach, as I've got strong hands from leather craft and working out - might as well try put them to good use. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to share my experience and knowledge with fashion/ ceramics/ cooking/ Paris/ queer culture... More than happy to cook together or for you.
