ABOUT ME

I am a graduate student at the University of Akron. I practice strict vegetarianism, and I am considering going vegan one day.

PHILOSOPHY

A very influential family member told me about a lecture she attended where the lecturer challenged his audience to "fill their dashes". My first question of course was, "what is meant by 'your dash'?" She explained to me that on my tombstone there will be a birth date, a dash, and a death date. She challenged me to consider how I have been spending my dash, and to fill it wisely and happily.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new to couch surfing and really stoked about it!

I would like to couch surf this winter to Vancouver for the Winter Olympics, and maybe Mammoth Cave Kentucky one of these summers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed without knowing that I have if that makes any sense....I am new to the website and new to the idea of meeting people through this medium, but so far I am very optimistic.

Interests

I am into physical and cognitive well-being. I think bodily health and mental health are closely related and I enjoy learning about both. I am always interested in a thought provoking book, however my textbooks have been gobbling up most of my reading time lately.
