ABOUT ME

25 (random) things to know about me...

1. Like everyone here, I love to travel and meet new people and try new things.
2. I love cupcakes, especially the tops.
3. I once was a GAP volunteer in Krakow, Poland in a Vision Impaired School.
4. Still in Krakow, Poland but now learning Polish and giving conversation lessons on the side.
5. My dream is to combine travelling and volunteering projects into the one.
6. Read books. Buy books. Collect books. And I never seem to have enough books.
7. Am very clumsy and trip over alot on the European cobblestone streets.
8. Prefer tea to coffee, sweet to savoury and texting to calling.
9. I love polaroid pics.
10. Decided to take a Gap year after completing high school in 2006 and...I'm still on my Gap year.
11. Summer and Autumn are my favourite seasons.
12. I collect matchboxes from the places I visit.
13. I always hit the snooze button when my alarm goes off.
14. Inquisitive so am always asking questions.
15. I like to discover little quirky bars and cafes.
16. I love to laugh and am always trying to find the funny side of things. But i'm also usually the last to get the joke.
17. I love thuderstorms and the sound of rain.
18. I hate to see injustice, intolerance and violence.
19. I wish I could play the saxaphone.
20. I know its childish, but I like to jump in puddles and I'm still searching for red wellington gumboots.
21. I never eat raw tomato slices.
22. I'm a list writer. Shopping lists, what-to-do lists, places-to-go lists...
23. Like to go out and have fun with a different people
24. I enjoy food and trying new types of food.
25. I have 2 left feet so I'm a bad dancer, but that never stops me. Although it probably should.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I am a newbie, I haven't done any hosting or surfing yet but I have started to attend the weekly couchsurfing meetings in Krakow and have met a bunch of fantastic people. Also willing to meet up for a drink or two and show people around
