ABOUT ME

I have never been good at describing myself, I never know where to begin! I am a born and bred Aussie kid from Queensland and I love the great outdoors! I prefer to walk on the grass than stick to the path and am a rebel at heart. There are few things I love more than being with my friends and having a good laugh. A friend of mine is a friend for life! I am a passionate fan of the creative arts and try to involve myself in performance as much as possible. But lately I've discovered my true calling in life is science. Biological science to be more specific and once I am home from my travels I aim to immerse myself in the scientific community of Australia and one day change the world through genetic engineering.

I can be eccentric and extremely extroverted when I feel comfortable around people I know, but quiet and pensive around new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Never lose sight of the past, for without it you can have no map of the future. Live everyday as if it is your last but pretend you will live forever!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One of my main goals in my travels is to meet as many people from as many cultures as possible and assimilate myself into these for a time. I think Couch Surfing is a brilliant way to achieve this. One day I would like to host some surfers but for now I'm ridin the wave!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always enjoy the occasional crash on a mates couch at four in the morning after a big night out!

I stayed on a couch for three weeks in Iceland. I met my host in the pub and he put me up!

I can sleep anywhere, except on an aeroplane!

Interests

Since I was a little kid my two main interests in life have been Acting and Science. Two polar opposites that define my passion. I hope to be involved in creative projects for the rest of my life while I develop professionally in the field of applied genetics.
