I live a simple life. I'm a proud Minnesotan - love showing off this place - but also an experienced traveler with a great appreciation for other places and cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like meeting people, and would be happy to host if I'm around. I also love giving and getting local advice on where to go, what to eat, what to see.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed on many couches of friends and friends of friends over the years, but only a few through CS. I most recently surfed through CS in South Africa.

I've hosted a few times here in Minnesota

I once stayed on a stranger's couch in Alaska and before long we were roommates. I stayed the whole summer.

Interessi

watching life go by, gardening, sports (playing tennis, basketball, ping pong, softball...watching baseball, soccer), biking, good herbal tea, sledding, naps, music (playing and listening), and most cool things.

Musica, film e libri

I enjoy international films, documentaries, and just plain old good movies. I really enjoy reading krakauer and Vonnegut, but venture outside of those genres quite frequently. My musical tastes span rap to latin to classical and most things in between.

I survived a hurricane, typhoon, flood, earthquake, and tornado in the past 8 years....on three continents. And i'm still fascinated by natural disasters.

Duct tape holds the world together. While many things can be made or repaired with duct tape, it wrinkles if left in the sun. Proceed with caution.
