About Me

CURRENT MISSION

....figure out what´s next, as a daily habit

ABOUT ME

I have seen some of the states, but now want to see the rest of the world. My family roots are in Poland and Germany. I relish the outdoors so it was nice to have a bunch of traveling gear already. Music and food are two of my favorite things ever, I think it makes culture and defines a person.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is what humans do, always, even before we became human.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I dabble.

Interests

I like the music of everything, specifically focusing on the blues and blues rock, reggae and dub, lounge grooves and laid back beats, music from around the world, classic rock n roll, folk rock, and movie soundtracks. I dont know why I dont play an instrument. Fortunately my second passion is food, and I do love to cook. I like finding fresh ingredients and combining them to form something I havnt had before, though recipes are a good challenge too. The orange is not to be underestimated, nor can it be overestimated. Desserts, entrees, flavoring, as a juice, or simply as the fruit it is, might be perfect.

Music, Movies, and Books

In general "songs about drifters, books about the same." Read John Steinbeck or Tom Robbins for a nice literary adventure. I recommend Repo Man, Bram Stokers Dracula, Master and Commander, True Romance, and a few others for fine films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I snuck up onto the roof of the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. It was about five in the morning and saw the sunrise over Central Park before the security escorted us out. It was autumn and then came the sesame bagels with the vegetable cream cheese.
