Caught the travel bug during my AFS year in Quebec, Canada as a teenager. Since then I've aupaired in Italy, taught English in Buenos Aires, was a lifeguard with Camp America in Texas and backpacked around South East Asia. Now I'm travelling around Europe for the summer before settling down in the UK for work.

I studied History and Film at uni, so I'm hoping to continue film making over here in Europe.

I've met a lot of amazing people through couchsurfing, through hosting, being hosted, parties and social events.

My parents owned a videoshop growing up so I think I've seen everything under the sun! I love documentaries - Louis Theroux, Nick Broomfield, errol morris etc. Thrillers, dramas, comedies ... Just finished 'The Affair' and starting 'Luther'.

Just read Trainspotting and The Island currently reading I am Masala.

Bit of an old fogie - like the classics, Jimi hendrix, Led zepplin, Nick cave, Leonard Cohen and some new stuff - lana del rey, xx, florence and the machine etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Inca trail is a highlight, bungy jumping, watching the sunset at Angkor Wat, horsetrekking in the andes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can prepare edible food! I love a good chat and a spirited game of pictionary/articulate/charades (boardgames are underrated!) with a glass of wine.
