CURRENT MISSION

I work to get money and I get money so I can spend it enjoying my life. I don't want fancy things, I just want to enjoy the life I have and I want to see the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm Chris, I grew up in the north of England but now I live and work in Melbourne, Australia. I'm studying Italian at the moment (just for fun) and loving every minute of it. Next year I will be spending almost 2 months in Italia, discovering all that this beautiful country has to offer and speaking the language with the locals.

I find it difficult to classify myself as quiet or lively. I'm very productive and studious when I'm at home (such as my Italian studies) but I love going out and having a good time with my friends. I consider myself to be a fairly shy person, but most of my friends tell me that I talk more than anybody else!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not somebody who wants to grow old with a collection of nice objects around me, I'd like to grow old with fond memories of all thing amazing things I did during my life and all the amazing people I met along the way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a shared apartment and we have a couch. I'm more than happy to let people sleep on the sofa when my housemates are also happy to do so :) I live in a very lively area of Melbourne so it's the perfect location for travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to this... let's see how it goes! Usually I'd stay in hostels without considering the couch surfing thing, but because I want to speak a lot of Italian next year I think this will be a great experience.

Intereses

I'm fairly active and enjoy walking and cycling. I also play squash (badly). I'm a bit of a geek and developing software is a hobby of mine.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Probably diving in the Great Barrier Reef. That was an amazing experience. I knew it would be, but actually doing it was breathtaking. I would love to do this again!
