HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are happy to host when we can, and hopefully have the time to show them around!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed a bunch while I studied abroad in Europe in 2009-2010. It was the best. Also in Japan in 2013. Now I can offer my couch in return!
I have met nothing but wonderful people through CouchSurfing. I have a lot of faith in it!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music. Some of my favorites are Pavement, the Beatles, and Neutral Milk Hotel.
I love to read but for some reason don't find as much time for it anymore. My favorite authors are Jonathan Safran Foer, Kurt Vonnegut, and John Irving. For non-fiction, I love Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza, hitchhiking in small town Indiana, surviving on $5 a day while traveling Europe, feeding deer from my hand in Japan's ancient capital Nara
