About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I travel not to escape life, but so life doesn't escape me.

ABOUT ME

Happiness, traveling, love and friends from all over; what else can I possibly want? :)

PHILOSOPHY

Ne demande jamais ton chemin à quelqu'un qui le connait, car tu pourrais ne pas te perdre.

To awaken quite alone in a strange town is one of the pleasantest sensations in the world.
I often lose sight of things.. but when I travel, everything balances out.
Not all those who wander are lost.

Una travesía de 1000 millas comienza con un solo paso.
*Se feliz sin una razon!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surf in Central America, and received in South America and in Montreal. Great experiences!

Interests

Travels, reading, learning, partying, trekking, sports..
I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list. Life is short, and the world is wide.
I hope you get to see how others do differently what we believed to be the right and only way, meet people with a different point of view, of living.

Music, Movies & Books

I love discovering new music, as much as listening to old beautiful songs. From rock, punk to folk, acoustic and indie. I also love instrumental and classic music.
I'll never be able to read everything I want to in a whole life.
Love watching movies, historic, horror, romantic or adventures; anything as long as it's not just people killing other people! ;)

One Amazing Thing I've Done

To leave my little village in Québec when I was 19 to go work in Mali, Africa. What a drastic change, and what a life lesson.

Teach, Learn, Share

I totally agree that surfing isn't just about a place to sleep; it's about exchange. It doesn't mean we will all get along all the time. But sharing a meal, a bottle of wine, an afternoon at the park or walking around the city, sharing about our lives and talking about travels. Yes, we could go to a hostel and do the same, but it's nothing like staying at someone's place, getting to know their environment, meet their roomate and their cat, and create a very different friendship.

What I Can Share With Hosts
