ABOUT ME

I'm easy going, friendly, very smiley, and open to new things :)

I grew up in Southern California, but once I had a taste of traveling through Europe while studying abroad in Italy I knew that I had to have more! I love learning about different cultures and trying new things too! Besides traveling though, there's nothing I like more than to be surrounded by family and friends. And if there's food involved than I'm always a happier little camper. It's fun to cook, but I prefer to bake...especially cupcakes! I'm also kind of a chocoholic...you ever have a sweet tooth you can't satisfy?! But whatever else you want to know, just ask...I'm an open book :)

PHILOSOPHY

Follow your heart. Your brain and heart may not often talk to each other, but you have to remember that your mind can sometimes play tricks on you. So in the end, do what makes you happy :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only had the opportunity of surfing others' couches, but I couldn't be happier with ALL of my experiences! Really, there's really no other way to travel! I'd never have seen or learned about half of the stuff in the cities I've visited if it wasn't for the amazing friends I've made who pointed me in the right direction. I love meeting new people and seeing parts of different cultures and countries besides the touristy sites. I believe you learn so much about life through interactive experiences with people so I'm excited about making friends and creating new memories! Hopefully one day I'll be able to share my couch and host new friends as well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed friends' couches many times...you can even be a tourist in your own city too! But recently I was able to travel through 5 different European countries where I surfed some of the most fantastic couches! And I just know I have many more couches out there that are calling my name ;)

White water rafting in Croatia was most definitely a high light! And seeing the Pope in Rome should be on the list of amazing things, right? ;) But watching the most perfect sun set over the Ponte Vecchio in Florence also sticks out!

If we really had the time and ingredients then I could teach you how to make amazing peanut butter and jelly cupcakes...but if not, then maybe you can teach me how to make something that's your favorite!
