About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Train tickets, ferry rides and windy roads.
ABOUT ME
I like the park near my house, but not as much as my house mate who REALLY loves that park. I think I love my rabbit as much as the house mate loves that park, but Pushkin (the rabbit) is very shy,I don't think he loves visitors all that much. I do.
I also like dinners with wine and friends, pictures books and music. My boyfriend is really lovely, strangers always like him.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't think that things are fair in this world; but it seems that a few little things really matter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to participate by occasionally having a spare room for some one who wants an insiders view of my side of the city, and going on adventures without hostels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The first time I went travelling I found hostel culture to be an international culture that can prevent you from seeing anything else. Its great fun but I'd prefer to meet people who are actually living there. Couch surfing put me in contact with some amazing people who gave me the chance to see the things I wouldn't even know I was missing.
Interests
I enjoy printmaking. Its a bit of an obscure and geeky occupation, but I really love etching images into copper then printing them onto handmade paper, maybe even binding them into a book. I like art and books, music and walking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Paper back Agatha Christie novels, biographies, big glossy pictured books about pictures I want to see in real life, something scathing by Will Self, anthologies of short stories from countries I want to visit, F.Scott Fitzgerald, Murakami, social theory that makes me feel smarter for having read it, I'll read most things, especially pulp and trash or if its hand bound or photocopied.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a child left unsuperviesed at the animal market I bid my pocket money on a donkey that would have ended up at the glue factory. I named him Mister Money, because I spent all of my money on him.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning things from people who have a passion for them.
I work in university and community bookbinding and printmaking workshops.
