ABOUT ME

My name is Cal, I am 21 years old, I was born and bread in Melbourne Australia and would fit quite well into what I think people imagine Australian's are like.
Surfer, loves the outdoors, smiling, whistling, eating and will rarely say no to a beer.

I can't get enough of life!

People describe me as down to earth, loving and a good fun guy to hang out with.

I was brought up on a small farm on the outskirts of Melbourne. I have a younger brother and sister and two fantastic parents.

My childhood involved a lot of outdoor activity; camping, beach, bikes, horses, hunting, cubbies, fishing...lots of fun!!!

I went to a Rudolf Steiner or Waldolf school, (this may not be familiar to some of you but I shall explain when I see you).

In 2006 I did a 6 month exchange to Switzerland where I learnt, among many things to speak French.

My parents are now separated but for me I now find myself having the best of three worlds.
My father lives in the heart of the city.
My mother lives in a beautiful town about 30 minutes drive from Melbourne's centre and her partner manages a 400 acre farm on the south coast of NSW, which is one of the most beautiful places I know, and I would love to show you one day.

PHILOSOPHY

The most important thing in life is love!

I believe that what you project out into the world will come back to you!

Treat people how you would want them to treat you!

I believe we don't know until we have tried, so I'm always up for giving things a go!

Live your life for today because tomorrow may never come!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I became a member of CS when I was traveling around Europe in 2009, it has been one of the best things I have come across.
I am now hosting people from all around the world which I love because it is kind of like I am still traveling.
I am so happy to be a part of this fantastic concept and can't wait to meet you!

Música, películas y libros

Movies: Johnny Depp, Into The Wild, Barracka is a increadible documentry.

Music: I have quite a broad taste in music but I'm quite into my chilled out stuff and classic rock, my favorite band is Dire Straits and Mr. J. Johnson is a bit of an idol.

Books: I love adventure books whether they're fictional or biographies. I The Alchemist is a book that I think everyone must read, especially if you are young and traveling.
