ABOUT ME
Well, the other fields will probably explain myself a bit more into detail, but shortly:
At the moment I live at the heart of Finland, Tampere! I was brought up in the beautiful Finnish town of Rauma, north from Turku (where my home university lies). On my free time I do pretty much all kind of stuff, but focusing on music, arts, friends, dancing, chilling out, creating and enjoying atmospheres, cycling, walking out in the forests and the city, traveling...
I have a strong tendency to get interested and inspired, and I love this world so much and want to make it even better.
PHILOSOPHY
I think there is really no meaning of life, except the continuity of it.
But I think life is valuable as it is. We are here to experience, learn, wonder and wander, love and enjoy and try to develop into something better and sustainable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have always enjoyed sleeping at friends' places, spending evenings together, etc., and I really love this kind of grass root level social networks that aim to make life more humane, so CouchSurfing seems to be a reasonable thing to do! Besides surfing and hosting, other CS activities are jolly good fun for me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had already a couple fistfuls of CS experience, but it's not the quantity that matters, is it? All the people I've met via CS have been extraordinary. And I have a strong intention to meet more of them!
Interests
People, the beautiful complexity of the human minds and their interactions...
Nature in its all forms

I could go on for too long. I love pretty much everything.

Movies:
Well, if one looks into the IMDB top 250 list, one cannot go wrong. But I also like to watch bad movies (for emptying the brain), but I prefer ones with a deeper touch, and most often more underground or "artistic" movies. My favourite director is Hayao Miyazaki.
Books. Classics are good, and story-telling with mystical properties. Examples are Dostojevsky, Terry Pratchett, Tove Jansson, Neil Gaiman, Stanislaw Lem...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycled up 3 kilometers through heavy winds and steep climbs. When finally arrived on top next to a glacier, an old magnificent bearded vulture (wingspan almost 3m!) flew over my head, while around me the view down to the Alps opened up.
