My partner Adrian and I are about to move to Amsterdam for some adventures and to send some time living in Europe and getting to see as much of it as possible.

We will be arriving in April 24th. Once we are there we plan to 1. Enjoy King's day, and then buy a campervan asap and start driving around Europe and living out of our van.

In Australia I have been working as a Producer in outdoor theatre, spectacle theatre, radio and music. I usually have a few things on the boil and variety really keeps me engaged and energised. I love the work that I do and I'm excited for some new experiences and challenges working for festivals in Europe.

Adrian and I have been together for 4 years (living together for 1 year) and have so far had adventures camping around South-East Queensland and Northern NSW, working on independent artistic projects together, travelling to Japan, and learning to scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef.

Adrian is a Business Analyst and will be working freelance as we travel around.

We both really love meeting new people, good food (including wine and coffee), live music and a good vinyl collection (we will sorely miss our own while we travel) and nature.
I love to cook and will inevitably try and whip up a delicious meal or two given the chance.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I had my first experience with couch surfing when I was 21, whilst backpacking with a friend around Eastern Europe.
What I really came to appreciate about this network, was getting to meet people who live locally who can really show you a different side to a city. You get to know it on a deeper level that just walking the beaten track.
I've only had really positive experiences couch surfing, and Adrian and I hope to utilise couchsurfing to maybe find a place to stay while we are looking for our van, and to take a break from vanlife while traveling.
If we had the chance for an extended stay in May (from the 2nd) we would be very happy to contribute to rent and utilities.
