About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to be able to meet new people and learn as much about the world as I can through seeing it! The more people can interact with each other, the less we'll misunderstand each other.

ABOUT ME

Fun loving nomad ready for the next adventure :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Always do what you want and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

-Dr. Seuss

Life is too short to be constrained, follow your heart, and take risks. Life is way too short to live with any regret so take a chance and go for it :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by going out and meeting the amazing people that are part of couch surfing, getting together for all sorts of random adventures here in Hawaii and throughout the world as I continue this wonderful and crazily random journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been meeting and hanging out with all sorts of wonderful people from CS since moving to Oahu almost a year ago! I've done everything from having BAMF nights at poetry slams in downtown Honolulu to meeting up for coffee and going to the beach for picnics and random evenings with Indian food goodness! This is such a great community to get together with and meet with.

Music, Movies, and Books

Will listen to pretty much anything depending on the mood, mostly listen to alternative rock, classic, symphonic metal, along with all sorts of other different musical genres from all around the world. I'll also jam to the uke being played. Always game for listening to new and different stuff. No such thing as a bad genre of music, just bad musicians :-p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing in the Ocean up at Kailua beach park tackling random CSers I've met for the first time while screaming "RANDOM TACKLE!," chasing after a small ball, while becoming instant friends with everyone!

Running the Hilo Marathon and taking in all the scenery of Big Island and the first North Shore marathon in May 2011.

Teaching in Paris, France for three months in the fall of 2007.

The rain forests of Mexico back in 2006.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to be able to help breakdown the barriers of both language and misunderstanding that most people in this world experience, sometimes on a day to day basis. I hope that people will be able to help me in this too as I continue to work and travel this large, and yet small world of ours.
