ABOUT ME

Going on my second winter in Alaska, and full steam ahead. The climate, the people, and the events never cease to excite; having snow AND terrain with which to make use of it?! amazing. I work with a local research center that participates in design/builds all over the region and state and couldn't be happier with the setup. I also love acting as impromptu tour guide and swapping notes on great places to travel, see and eat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I slept on a foam flip-and-f*@% in Chicago for 3 months while I interned at an architecture firm; that was my first informal CS experience.

I like doing anything that moves you faster than walking (and doesn't involve a car): biking, skiing, skating, sailing, etc.

I cant teach you to fall, very very gracefully on ice skates. I also once knew how to propose in Italian slang, and can show you a bunch of nonsensical games with paper and humor.
