ABOUT ME

i am a 24 year old male who lives in chico,ca. i am a beilever in christ. i tolerate everyone. please do not get the wrong idea of my friends and i when you see the word "christian" i beileve God and Christ's message is to love and help people. I enjoy serving people; watching movies wih my friends; watching select shows on netflix;surfing the net; running; playing guitar,bass,percussion and keys; listening to music; writing; doing things with friends and family; random conversations;meditation; being creative and drawing. I'm majoring in religion and i am on student leadership for my church: bidwell and hang with jr. high high school students at alders gate church. i enjoy all kinds of music from miles davis to the beatles. some of my favorites:brian eno,the beatles, roxy music,neil young, david bowie,the kinks,talkng heads. i really enjoy people and am looking forward to connecting with you all. if you have any more questions, ask away!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for Jesus Christ. This means that everyone needs to and should be loved. That was Christ's message. I like to talk about my "religion" I pray that i can at least encourage someone to seek the lord, I am not a "crusader" you can only find God if you choose him. My prayer is that i give a good represntation of what Christ is and that i just make this world brighter. i beileve in having fun and that everyone has potential and goodness inside them. there is growth in challenges and suffering. we still grow when we are happy,but deep growth comes from the hard stuff in life. The good times are good as well. Psalm 40

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

my goal is to meet and connect with people. to foster lifelong realtionships and grow as a person and gain world and life knowledge

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hav never "couch surfed" per se. However, when I did the Chico Urban mission( helping the homeless in my hometown). I did crash on an associate of my church's couch. It was like I was home,but not. I was still in my hometown,but i experienced it through a new perspective as i was thrown into diffternt circumstances and and i hung with people that i normally would not. It was one of the best experiences i have ever had.

i have been to albania to serve college students; i have been to alaska to serve kids between 8 and 18; i have served my homeless community and general community. i have been to san francisco several times; i have volunteered at Phish's Festival 8. i have hiked through a volcano in hawaii (ok, not really. i'd dead,but i hiked as far as i could get to it. i think you know what i meant).
