Earlier this year I sold everything and booked a one way ticket to Cairo. I had no idea what I was looking for but I was certain that I’d learn many valuable lessons. Five months, thirteen countries and many wild adventures later, I am back. But now I’m playing the guitar, writing and practicing Tai Chi.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

When I was eleven, I saved the life of a drowning child. He had fallen into the pool of our apartment building. My younger brother ran over and told me that the neighbor’s child was drowning; I ran, dove in and pulled him out. At the time I didn’t know CPR so I thumped his back until he spat the water he’d taken in and carried him to his parents. Brother Bear deserves credit as well.
