ABOUT ME

After fumbling through years of standard education, I chose to take time off to learn the lessons one learns while traversing the world by the seat of their pants. I grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii, riding horses, exploring the mountains and the ocean, dancing, learning, growing and creating. I love being outdoors and adventurous, hiking, camping, swimming, being spontaneous about it all. I have been riding horses since age six, it's a long standing passion of mine as well as a very fulfilling one. I have recently gotten into writing and performing music and am absolutely in love with the whole process. I would love to eventually get serious about it and make a living doing so, but for now, my occupation is traveling and experiencing life.

PHILOSOPHY

Love. It is everywhere and it is everything. Be quick to love and make haste to be kind. Life is too short not to.
Let life happen. The universe will provide. If you want something, believe it, hold onto it and create it. The process will astound you. You create your own experience. No one is in control of you or your life or happiness. Just let it in and be aware of all of life's blessings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted for a while when I was living outside of El Bolsón, Argentina. I also couchsurfed in Chile, Argentina and Brazil for three months. Love meeting new people and getting a more personal view of different places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love it! I have met some wonderful people and had some amazing experience...
I have also met some okay people and had some okay experiences, but overall, its been very positive.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost all music. It's a new passion of mine, so i'll listen to anything and if by chance I don't like it, i'll ask you to turn it off. :)
I love reading, but it usually turns out that i'm too active to take time to sit down and read unles it's a book that really grabs me.
I don't like TV (I find it too addicting and mind-numbing) and I rarely watch movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to pick one thing, I've had such amazing experiences growing up on a tropical island, such as waterfall hikes or swimming with dolphins.
I think that waking up every morning to the sunshine and the warm wind clicking through the palm fronds on our organic farm is the most amazing blessing.
