I'm heading out into the wild blue yonder for upto a year, taking a bike, a laptop, and a friendly smile, to see the places I've always wanted to see.

I'm a former promotions director from South London, born and raised, former music journalist, former novelist, current cyclist.
I'm old enough to know better, but young enough to give it a go.
I can't go a day without cycling, so I'm taking a bike with me as I travel.

I haven't had any yet. In my year or so travelling I hope to have plenty of experiences to share, when I update this.

Music: I'm a hip hop boy at heart, used to be a music journalist, interviewing pretty much every drum and bass dj people have heard of. I have music in my head all day everyday.
Writing: I wrote three published novels before I was 26, and haven't written anything since (Junglist/Bass Instinct/Evil Eye - as Two Fingers)
Cycling, I'm part of a london based cycling forum lfgss.com, and the people I have met through a mutual love of cycling has rekindled my faith in people. Cycling people are some of the coolest people in the world.
Food is fuel, but good food, fuels the soul. Love a good meal.

Passionate about music, Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Jazz Funk, Drum and Bass, Disco, a bit of House, Minimal Techno, and a sprinkling of Garage.

Books, I'm a writer but I haven't read anything for a while as I'm trying to write my own novel and I don't want to be too influenced by the stuff around me. But when I was reading, authors I admired and liked reading were Paul Beatty, Michael Chabon, Jonathan Lethem, and Cormac McCarthy.

Movies: I'm watching more films on my flights around the world, than I have done in the last couple of years. Last films I saw and enjoyed 500 Days of Summer, Up In The Air and Zombieland

Sat under the stars in Melbourne's Botanical Gardens, watching, The Dark Knight as bats swoop overhead.
Smelt the sea breeze, with the ocean just to my left as I rode the 40km's from Frankston to Melbourne.
Stared into the eye of a Whale shark at the aquarium in Osaka.
Standing on the harbour bridge looking down on Sydney.
