About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a 48 year old solicitor. Admitted.
I currently run my own legal practice specialising in property. We have been hit by the recession, but we plod on regardless. Over the years I have built up a degree of specialistion in my subject and I do enjoy it.
I was brought up in a farm in the Scottish Highlands. I have an attraction to and a bond with the Higland
way of life, or its ex way of life.
I am reserved, but when you get to know me am very loyal. I can also be very entertaining if I am sure of my company.
I like sport, some music, and I enjoy reading. I love gardening. I enjoy conversation.
PHILOSOPHY
I give 100% to everything I do and fight till I drop.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to talk to people and to listen to people. Often to offer a word of advice, but more often to emphathise. I like to discuss culture, language and perspective. I can discuss a whole variety of subjects when I am sure of my company. I have a lot of Highland reserve but I can come out of my shell and discussions with people of other cultures is easy for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't think of anything too unusual. I feel Holland in winter is beautiful with the lights reflecting on the canals. I liked the sun slinking down into the Med every night in Cyprus. The Grand Canyon doesn't dissapoint.
One thing I liked at University was throwing a rotten apple above and over a tutors head during a tutorial, and on into a waste bucket. It took the wind out of his sails as he was bragging about how many cases he had won.
