About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life and be satisfied with what I have
ABOUT ME
Born in London; moved to Southampton in 1967 as my dad worked on the Queen Elizabeth Liner. had a misspent youth and early 20s partying, getting drunk and falling off motor bikes; not always at the same time. Survived my motor biking years; got into sailing. Then after failing to drown; decided to get into hill walking and then some mountaineering. Nothing too serious; lots of trips to Wales and Scotland and just a few Alpine peaks. a couple of excursions to the Himalayas; culminating in climbing Stok Kangri in Ladakh. 6121 meters was my peak so I quit while I was still alive.
Settled in Cambodia in 2003 with Colleen to run a Guest house and Adventure tours. It has been a success and a lot of Fun. I’m still here and loving the life! traveling around the region when possible.
I recently decided to close the guest house as I wanted more time to concentrate on educational and photo adventure tours.
