Born and raised in California, worked in politics until I escaped the US in 2006. Discovered (and fell in love with) India. Lived in Germany for 10 years. Now dancing the tango in Paris. I'm adventurous and enjoy people who who don't fit the mold

I enjoy large bodies of water, laughing, documentaries, yoga, dancing of all kinds but especially the tango, backpacking, speaking multiple languages, philosophy, German-style saunas, trying new things, eating plants, singing..etc

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I used to be a voracious reader tending towards classic literature (Les Miserables, Anna Karenina, Crime and Punishment, anything by W. Somerset Maugham, Narcissus und Goldmund, etc.) Now it's all the classic children's literature (read to my children). We especially loved everything by Mark Twain.
I'm not much of a film-watcher.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am raising two children to the best of my ability. That, and the Himalayas.

Teach, Learn, Share

Tango, yoga and nutrition are my main passions (though there are others) and I'm happy to share everything I know...but I'm also happy just to share life stories, too ! You never know what kind of exchange can be possible when meeting with open-minded people
