ABOUT ME

I am a deep thinker, I like to analyze ideas and concepts. I believe in living out convictions through tangible actions.
I am married w/ children. For the last year and a half, we have been residing in Costa Rica. Am loving the weather, the peaceful + relaxed attitudes of the locals, the exotic birds, tropical plants, incredible fruit, etc... It has been an incredible adventure, and a great place to home school children.
I always have something new to learn!!!

Have surfed my way through several central american countries. Have met some great people.

Interests

I am currently working on developing a photography skill set. I used to roast coffee for a living. I am very interested in food. (Growing, processing, preserving, etc.) As a family we try to live as close to the land as we can.
I also used to work for a lab. where I did research on human nutrition (hydroponics, mass spec., tissue culturing, etc.) I am interested in human nutrition especially as it relates to health and wellness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to a remote mountaintop in Costa Rica , where I started an organic sustainable farm.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy doing Barista training.
Every so often, I get to train the staff @ a coffee shop to make drinks, equipment maintaince and calibration, etc.
I also have a good deal of Gardening (horticultural)experience.
