ABOUT ME

I work hard to travel and do extreme sports. I like the challenge.
I am a laid back and outgoing guy who likes to hear about other people's experiences and try new things.
In my spare time I quad, cliff jump, go on road trips, hike mountains, relax with my friends and family and ride my GSXR-750.
Coffee is one of the greatest discoveries of all time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have travelled on a budget and think it is more adventurous than staying at an all-inclusive resort. I hope to give others the same experience.

Interests

I have a passion for travelling, flying and seeing new parts of the world.
I should read a bit more than I do.
Oceans and beaches are definitely on my list to visit when I travel although I like to explore mountains and cultural districts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in the Guyana Jungle in a open aired hut for almost 3 weeks
Listened to the Dali Lama give a lecture in a monastery in Dharmsala, India
Hiked up the steps of the Potala Palace in Lhasa Tibet
Snorkelled in Tobago
Bartered in a Moroccan Market and the Silk Street Market (Beijing)
Kayaked with sea otters on the Pacific Ocean
Climbed castle walls in Spain and Portugal
Caught some sun-rays on the Pink Sand Beaches of Bermuda
Cliff jumped in the Rocky Mountains and Germany
Bungee Jumped numerous times

I live in Edmonton, Alberta. While I would like to be closer to the mountains, Edmonton features the World Famous West Edmonton Mall with Galaxy Land and Indoor Water Park, lots of unique restaurants, and a beautiful river valley.
Edmonton is a few hours away from mountain trails and ski resorts.
Remember that Alberta is a big province and when I say a few hours I can mean anywhere from 2-6hrs.
