ABOUT ME

I would say I'm a pretty laid back easy going girl who's just looking to have a good time in life. I take any opportunity I get to do something new and exciting! I consider myself a social chameleon, in that I relate to people quite easily and if there is the off chance that I can't relate - I take the opportunity to engage in discussion because I feel I can learn a lot from people who have views different than my own . I love to eat, drink and be merry. Currently I am pursuing my interests through various forms of social and environmental activism as well as natural healing/herbalism through my work.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couch surfing in the midst of my travels around Europe and had an excellent experience in Lyon, France. I have not been very active since but would like to get back involved with the community. Unfortunately I am currently living in a crowded bachelors apartment in a subsidized housing complex for artists in Edmonton, AB.... so unfortunately it's not the best time to host right now. BUT I do love meeting other travelers! I live right in the downtown core and usually know of a few things going on, if you need someone to show you around I am more than happy to share my city with you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an awesome time couch surfing in Lyon,France during the festival of lights unfortunately it was towards the end of my travels so I didn't have time to try it out anywhere else. My host, Chris was awesome though and I'm hooked!

Intereses

I enjoy dancing, live performances (music, theatre, comedy, etc.), music festivals, casual coffees/teas/beers, deep discussions, stargazing, being outdoors (in nice weather), and also have a serious passion for food - growing it, preparing it, eating it and advocating for it

Most amazing/crazy experiences of my life:
-Climbing for 8 hours through a cloud forest to the top of Volcan Maderas or the island of Ometepe in Nicaragua.
- Floating & Sea Kayaking in the blue, crystal clear waters of Northern Adriatic Sea, off the croatian coast.
-Dancing under the stars in the middle of the mountains of British Columbia.
- Eating pizza at Sorbillo Restruant in Naples (the original).
- Iceland. Period.
- The strip club & bathhouses in Budapest.
