ABOUT ME

After 4 years in Germany, I moved to the UK about a year ago. I love meeting new people who like sharing experiences and almost traveling experiences to give me new ideas for the next trip.
I am quite a good public for anyone who likes joking ! I'm not a music expert but like discovering new bands through gigs in bars or advices from friends even if I'm never sure I will be able to recognise the band or the song after!
I love learning languages and practicing them by traveling and meeting local people. Not so fond of tourist travel, I like discovering the inside of a city or a country (the little bar that nobody knows if you never went randomly into when you were lost)
I'm reading a lot and talking about it (sorry !) but also like exchanging ideas to figure out how to save the world (mostly late at night around a bottle of wine)
I love cooking and learning new recipes. And I knit and proud of improving myself!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I am not traveling with my work, I cannot guarantee a couch for hosting but would be happy to share a drink if I am around. Planning my first trip to the US next Fall to visit some friends, I hope getting around and maybe surf couchs to better discover the east coast.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met really nice Couch Surfers in Hannover meetings ! Some of those events were more or less planned but always a good time !

Movies : Back to the future movies, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Philadelphia, Le premier jour du reste de ta vie, Forrest Gump, The Truman Show, Singing in the rain (love musicals !), Dirty Dancing (so girly but a must have been seen once for the dialogs!)
Music :the Beatles, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Muse, U2, Coldplay, Pink, french singers(Benabar, Georges Brassens), The Wise Guys, Emeli Sandé... I listen to lot of things but never manage to identify it...what a shame !
Books: The third twin, the secret of the blue glass, Anne McCaffrey (Sci-Fi), Anne Perry, Kathy Reichs, Ann of green gables, The Guernsey Literary and Potatoe Peel Pie Society, Harry Potter, The world of Narnia, Millenium Trilogy (a must read !), Jean Christophe Grangé (Master of thriller), Bernard Werber (scientific litterature which makes you wonder "what if..."), Jodi Picoult (another kind of "what if") and also classics such as Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, Molière... I love reading in original version (french, english and german for the moment but look forward trying it in spanish !)

bungee jumping !It was amazing for me but looking for parachute jump (soon to come)!

moving out by train 3 times with always more stuff !

An amazing 1 month trip in Laos. First time outside Europe, quite a change with beautiful landscape, welcoming people and laid back lifestyle.
