COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I signed up on CS some years ago when I was planning a trip with a friend. Then a few years ago I moved abroad again and started using the site to meet people in the area where I moved... and I've met some wonderful people!!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

MUSIC: almost all kinds of music I can appreciate in some way (I said almost all!) but I guess I most prefer classic rock, reggae, psychedelic inspired jammy kinda stuff, oldies, bluesy-jazzy... the good stuff! :P

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of the most amazing things I have ever seen were the Northern Lights (or Aurora Borealis if you're sciency) when I lived in Iceland. One night I was walking home from the bus stop after I had gotten off work and decided to take the long way home and walk along the ocean. While walking I noticed the neon green lights in the sky, and climbed up on a hill to watch them as they twisted and twirled around the sky. As I watched, the green lights became pink and purple and did the most beautiful dance I have ever seen! I cannot describe how magical it was or the way it made me feel, but it truly was as people say, a natural phenomenon! It was sobering and intoxicating at the same time. I'll never forget standing alone in the freezing cold, pitch black night watching in absolute awe. A truly amazing experience!
