ABOUT ME

Hello there! I'm Max!

I'm fond of traveling - every time I finish a journey I look forward for the next one (it's kind of sick:). I like the way I get enriched while on a go.

I also believe that one meets the most interesting people while traveling. This happens because of the "natural selection", when we select our travel destinations/seasons/routes.

And this is why I think that CS is a great idea - it helps us to meet new people that fit our spirit, to discover the places fully, to understand the world better.

At the moment I'm between the jobs and traveling in South East Asia. So far I visited in charming India (Ladakh, Sikim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam) and stunning Nepal (trekked Annapurna Circuit and Upper Mustang).

I met many great people and can't wait to host them in Tokyo.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was lucky to get assistance in a huge city of Kolkata - needed some help with shopping.
I had an amazing surfing experience in Hyderabad.

Sports - run, bicycle, diving, rollerblades, windsurfing.
Food - cooking & dining - we are what we eat (and drink:) after all!
Human interaction - that's what it all is about, isn't it?
Photography - I enjoy it very much, trying to improve both technically and artistically.
Professional - internet technologies and communications.
I'm always intrigued about languages & etymology (is in your language the word for "right-side" also has that positive connotation like in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Hindi, etc. or it doesn't like in Hebrew, Swahili, etc.?:) - I still try to learn more tongues.
Lately I'm interested in massage - took a course and try to exercise it when I can.

Classical: all of it (probably except baroque), recently discovered (Dover Lane) Indian classical music and love it very much.

Seen a Santa María's eruption from Acatenango volcano.
Skydived next to Buenos Aires.
Ran a marathon, actually two.
Climbed Kazbek mountain, 5000m.
Solo trekked in Upper Mustang (on a restricted budget:).
Stayed with a family at a remote village in Arunachal Pradesh.

I'm rather proficient in computers, can teach about these and would love that.
I'm not too bad in photography and understand some techniques.
And of course the good old mathematics - you are not sure what is lim f(x) - I'm sure I can try to help.
Languages... well I can try to help you with Hebrew and/or Russian which are both mother tongues (which is a contradiction of it's own).
I love to learn from people I like, doing that all the time.
