We are full for FALL only taking requests for December 2013 and onward
I have lived in Austin for four years. I have a very nice boyfriend and we like to take bike trips together. Right now we are working and hope to go traveling next year.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted couch surfers, I have yet to stay with anyone. Mostly because I have been traveling to see friends the past couple of years or crewing on a sailboat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted awesome people, and unfortunately one bad apple. And to avoid being in that situation again I am only taking in males with great references in groups of two. Females, couples, moms, kids, dogs, anyway anyway no more single males. Which is truly unfortunate considering how many awesome dudes I have also hosted. but it was a scary situation and Couchsurfing really cant do anything about it, so those are the new rules. Sorry dudes.

I like going swimming as much as possible, bike riding ( we do have guests bikes) My boyfriend does much of the gardening, and I do the cleaning. We both like to cook but we do like going out for meals now and then. Austin has amazing food.

I like Conan, seeing friends bands/projects, and non fiction books. Im not so much for movies, I think they are all pretty awful these days. But Im working on some movies with my friends and writing "Dolphin President" the kids movie with my boyfriend.

I've gotten to travel a good amount, but I think the best thing in the world is to hang out with friends and make a good time out of nothing.

I would love to study to be an acro yoga teacher, I am currently going back to school for 3 D design, focusing on awesome travel gear. I make costumes/fabric art and I teach kids how to do things. I can show you how to sew up that hole in your bag.
We also have Yellow Bike Collective a walkable distance up the street and they have volunteer hours and is a great place to meet people.
We love to cook so if you want to show us a recipe we can return the favor.
