About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel like there's no tomorrow!

ABOUT ME

Just returned from living in South Korea for 18 months. Back to being a student and continuing my educational goals. For now, travel will have to be on hold. My education was in Art and Design which drives me to seek out the beauty in the everyday. I can't wait to see what the rest of the world has to offer. I'm a pretty quiet introvert, but try to be as outgoing as possible when I meet new people (it's a struggle, but I'm working on it!)

PHILOSOPHY

WOW. I hope to become a better person through everything I experience. Try to shed the negativity with which I was raised and find the positive deep within myself and everyone I meet. Just try, try, try!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I loved hosting and surfing when we lived in South Korea and traveled to Japan. For now I don't have a couch to offer. As soon as I can (and live somewhere worth visiting!) I would love to host again!

Interests

art, travel, different foods, becoming more positive, learning, growing, trying things i think will be impossible, movin' and shakin', dancing even if i'm terrible at it!, stumbling through life as best i can!

Music, Movies, and Books

dark comedies, fantasy, animation, documentaries and silly, silly action movies
travelogues, fantasy, true stories, and silly, silly crime novels
music: hip hop, story telling, traditional, anything to shake my groove to

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Parrot fish off the northern coast of Bali. My first "real" trip as an adult and my first time snorkeling. I got to see a fish I had only seen on film. It made my year!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn that the world has something so positive still left that we can create a network where fluidity of space allows for movement that previously would have been impossible. (i.e. everyone can visit new places where they will have a 'friend' and warm place to stay- even if they don't know anyone there!)

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, South Korea

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Korea, United States
