PHILOSOPHY

I continue to live my life because even when I am feeling low, I find my self singing, and then I find myself making delicious food, and I keep meeting great people. It's just in me to keep going and I am always glad I did!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the past few years I have slept on couches in Aruba, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, California, Florida, South Carolina, Germany, Hawaii, Italy, Maine, Mexico, Montreal, New Hampshire, New York, Puerto Rico and even some in my hometown! I have slept on a few boats and a few floors, and have event spent a few nights on a couch in a storage unit that is used as a recording studio! This is all before signing up so this next step was obvious!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently reading E.H. Gombrich's "A Little History of The World" and enjoying immensely. Music is a mix of many styles but I appreciate and will listen to all types. I enjoy indie movies best.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last Christmas I chose to take a trip to Italy, where I had never been instead of being with family and friends. I learned to speak a good bit of Italian in the 10 weeks before my trip. In the days just before I left, I went to the local Christmas tree seller and gave him $50, instructing him to give a really great tree to someone who may not have been able to afford it. It felt good three times, once in me, once in the guy who got to tell the recipient, and once in the recipient. I had forgotten about it until I pondered this question. That means I got to enjoy it again!
