ABOUT ME

I think my friends would describe me as a happy, smily and extrovert person...What more can I say? I particularly enjoy music. I can't live without it! I studied foreign languages at the University of Toulouse ("the pink city" as we call it in France) and I lived in Portugal during 4 years. I love the moutains, the countryside, and the effervescence of some big cities!
I enjoy almost all kinds of sports (tennis, skiing, kayak, trekking etc.) and I've been playing volley ball for more than 10 years.
People say I'm a good cook, so if you host me, I'll be happy to prepare a French or Portuguese meal for you! Cooking is my kind of yoga...
Discovering new places of our beautiful planet and getting to know new people are the things I would like to do thanks to the CS community.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing and providing couch!
When I'm not able to provide a couch, be sure I'll be happy to be your guide for a walk in the mountains OR for a good restaurant in Pau!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I began to couchsurf when I went to Brazil on a 3 month-road trip! I had such great experiences. Met all kind of people who sometimes, were my tourism guides, and some other times, my party guides. They always made me feel I was at home! I met artists, families, students, workers and so on. As a first experience, I would say it was AMAZING. I fell in love with the idea of breaking the strong barriers that normally exist between people. I hope this spirit will NEVER EVER DIE!

People & Nature

MUSIC:
First I ENJOY a lot of kinds of Music: Jazz, Soul, Funk, Bossa Nova, Blues, Rock, Hip Hop, Electro, Drum and Bass and so on. It just has to be good. One of my favourite artists: FELA KUTI!!!

And I also sing since the age of 10. I already had two bands, one pop-rock and another punk-heavy-rock. Now I sing with my guitar and a multi-instrumentist friend of mine . Coming next...a cd?

Cinema: Tim Burton, Guy Ritchie, The Cohen Brothers, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Claudio Assis, Ken Loach, Alejandro González, Almodovar etc.

Travel: my childhood dream come true: BRAZIL and my new dream: AFRICA

Books: Boris Vian, Barjavel...

Gastronomy: I'm a good cook (they say)

Sports: all mountain sports (but I don't climb ice!), volley ball, flamenco dance

Foreign Cultures: I want to begin by learning new languages whenever I can. Next Step: ITALIAN
