I'm a fourth year student at the University of Virginia. I like music, running, India, and sweet potatoes. I study Indo-Tibetan Buddhism and am pursuing a graduate degree.

Met a monk in Leh, Ladakh, India, but am still pretty much a newcomer!

two months backpacking in India, traveling in China and tibet, traveling through Belize, worked in New Orleans for St. Bernard Project on post-Katrina housing, spent a summer living in a tibetan buddhist nunnery on a research grant

I study buddhism and therefore know a good bit of on Indian and Tibetan religion and history. I speak hindi, sanskrit, zangskari, tibetan, and spanish. some more than others.
