ABOUT ME

From a very young age Ive always wanted to travel...so thats pretty much what Ive done. After completing my degree i moved to Canada and became a snowboard instructor. Since then Ive spent a year traveling around New Zealand meeting amazing people and having an awesome time. I moved back to Canada in 2010 and have never really left.
Im a very chilled out, easy going person. I love to be sociable but also love my own space and company.

PHILOSOPHY

There are a few things I live by. One is always treat people the way you want to be treated, its simple but hugely effective, especially if you believe in karma. Second is that "variety is the spice of life", it fits to absolutely everything, food, countries, music, drinks, films, books etc etc.
I say it all the time and truly believe its the best way to live.
My mum who is a lovely and clever lady once told me that there is nothing more important than peace of mind, so I always follow this advice and am a truly content person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far ive been the one couch surfing and staying with other people. However, one day when ive got a wee place to call my own Ill defiantly be a host.

Interests

I love everything to do with Snowboarding, Surfing and generally being outdoors. Yoga is also a big part of my life, as well as cooking, making jewellery and photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies so far are True romance, Dazed and Confused, The Science of Sleep, Volver and Thats it Thats all.
I recently went to see Carol King and James Taylor in concert, was an awesome experience loved every minute of it. I love a huge variety of music from Metallica to Leonard Cohen. Anything by Bon Iver, Elliot Brood, Angus and Julia Stone also makes me v happy.
Im not happy without a good book. My favs are Mary Shellys Frankenstein, A picture of Dorian Grey, Atonement, Perfume and the Book Theif,.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Full moon surf on Vancouver Island. Some good people, glow sticks and the biggest full moon i've ever seen. Was Amazing!!!
I'm traveling around Central America right now and having an incredible time. Met some great people, surfed some good waves and enjoying everything :)
