Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i spread the word about CouchSurfing every chance i get. It's such a great concept. At this time i am only able to meet fellow couch surfers for coffee and possibly show them around my area if i'm free.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i have only had two CouchSurfing experiences.
The first one was in England, and my host was extremely hospitable.
i needed a place to stay while i awaited a response from a retreat center where i was going to do a work exchange.
My 2nd one was here in the States - Burlington, Vermont. i am thinking of relocating to Burlington, and in addition to needing a place to rest at the end of the day, i find CouchSurfing hosts to be an invaluable resource for getting to know a community. And my host was extremely helpful in that regard.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing i've done (twice) in my lifetime: Lightened my load and packed up & moved to places just because i wanted to live there. The first time was moving from Portland, OR to Flagstaff, AZ (with a 9 yr. old in tow), and the 2nd time was moving from AZ to Vermont.
I'm now living back in Az after 3 1/2 years in VT
Teach, Learn, Share
i love sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge about healthy living, spirituality and women's empowerment.
What i want to learn from others: Any creative tips and pointers for seeing the world on a shoestring budget.
