ABOUT ME
I'm the eldest of four kids and have three younger brothers. While my dad was getting his P.h.D., I grew up all over the US devouring my parents' art history books, going to the ballet, living in the library, playing outside from the moment I got off the school bus, and having an extreme desire to learn how to fly. In a household that forgot to purchase cable television and videogame consoles, we had to think of other things to do. I've always had a strange desire to, well, go--which may have been why I ran cross country in highschool. At any rate, from as early as I can remember I have found the world to be worthy of and begging for exploration.
Somewhere between wanting to fly and settling for a job, I have come into my final semester studying English Literature at Winthrop University. After returning from a little time in Dublin, I'm not entirely sure what I want to do but I am still restless for the world.
PHILOSOPHY
"The only way to be perfect is to allow chaos and madness into your life" -Darren Aronofsky
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I met a few people while I was in Ireland through the project. I was out of couch surfing for some time but I hope to become more involved as soon as I finish with school.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Over 1,000 people on the mall lawn of Capitol Hill lobbying to end the longest running war in Africa. To be a part of an international endeavor that is beyond myself and even my native borders is the most humbling and amazing thing that I have ever witnessed.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm all up for learning at this point--not much to offer to teach.
